ABOUT BRANDON SHANK

President & Evangelist, Tour 29:11 Ministries Inc.

I am a husband, father, and an entrepreneur. I married the love of my life, Casey in 2005 after dating from my junior, her sophomore year in high school. We gave birth to our son, Cayden on November 23, 2010 and are currently expecting our second child in October of 2012. I am an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God and graduated from Evangel University in 2004 with a degree in Biblical Studies and a minor in Psychology. I am currently working on my Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Evangel University.

In 2006 I knew God was starting something in my heart that I couldn’t finish on my own. I was serving as the Student Ministries Pastor at Clover Hill Assembly of God in Midlothian, Virginia but was being pulled towards “life on the road.” In February of 2006 I started traveling a limited amount and by March of 2007 I was on my own and traveling whenever opportunities arose. Over the past 6 years I have had many opportunities sharing in school assemblies, youth events, churches, colleges, etc. I am often asked what it is I feel called to? Most simply my answer is “people.”

God called me to live the life of an evangelist, my calling is to travel and preach the Gospel. The larger picture is crusade evangelism and Tour 29:11, but as an individual I travel and preach the Gospel when I’m not building a Tour 29:11 event. I was a nervous wreck a month before graduating college and in one of my desperate attempts to find peace I tried praying. God gave me a scripture, Jeremiah 29:11. Not only is it plastered all over this site but it is a verse many of us hold onto because we know that God is faithful and will do whatever He promises. It means we’re not garbage and that He will do amazing things if we’ll trust Him. Jeremiah 29:11 says,

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

I have a passion and never-ending desire to see peoples’ lives changed. I have dedicated my life to preaching the Gospel and getting the message of Jeremiah 29:11 to as many people as I can before I no longer have the opportunity. Whether in a school, at a camp, in a church, a massive or miniature crowd, God has always been faithful to speak to those who are listening. I want to be a part of helping them hear it.
